A nationwide data breach is hitting close to home.
Iowa's Attorney General Tom Miller said computer hackers accessed the personal information of more than one million Nationwide Insurance and Allied Insurance customers. Ninety thousand of those customers are in Iowa. The Illinois numbers haven't been released yet.
Nationwide said although hackers had access to personal info, it doesn't believe it is being misused.
As a precaution it is providing free credit reports and looking out for identity theft.
