Cambridge Mom Accused of Beating Son

A teenage mother is arrested, accused of beating her two month old son.

17-year old Amanda Doyle of Cambridge is facing three counts of aggravated battery to a child.

The investigation began when the baby was brought in to the hospital in Peoria with broken ribs, broken leg, and an injury to his shoulder. The Division of Children and Family Services notified the Illinois State Police, who arrested Doyle on Friday.

The case is still under investigation.
