Abingdon City Employee Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charges

An Abingdon city employee could lose his job after admitting to having child porn.

Thomas Marshall pleaded guilty last week to a felony charge. This after federal authorities seized his home computer, two hard drives, and two envelopes all containing images of child porn.

Marshall worked with the Abingdon public works department for 23 years. City council will decide whether or not Marshall can keep his job on Thursday.

Marshall will be sentenced in March.
