Wal-Mart is one step closer to building a new Super Center in Rock Island.
City Council voted Monday night to sell the Watchtower Plaza to Price Properties for 4.5 million dollars.
Now all that's left to do is relocate all the businesses currently in the plaza on 11th street. Businesses have until March to be out.
The Super Center will create 400 jobs and bring in millions in sales tax revenue.
