Some Quad City kids spent Saturday morning with the wild.
The Niabi Zoo hosted a 'Breakfast with the Animals,' where kids got to see the morning routine of birds, snakes, and elephants.
All the funds will go to keeping the Niabi Zoo animals healthy and happy.
Zoo representatives said this is a great way for kids to learn first hand about different animals.
"The earlier we can start teaching children how fabulous these animals are, I think the better impact we might have," said Sharon Freedman, assistant director at the Niabi Zoo.
This is the last zoo event this year.
The zoo will reopen in march.
