AIDS has claimed the lives of more than 25 million people around the world since 1981.
Today, the world comes together to raise awareness on World AIDS Day.
The Project of the Quad Cities works to educate folks here in the Quad Cites Area about Aids.
They said the most important thing you can do, is get tested.
According to the United Nations, more than 33 million people worldwide live with HIV or AIDS.
Project of the Quad Cities representatives said there are at
least 600 people here in the Quad Cities who live with HIV or AIDS.
