Ice Rink Delay

Families who came out Saturday to skate at the new ice rink in Moline were turned right back around.

They met a sign saying the rink wouldn't open up until Monday. But if you're thinking it was the warm temps that put a damper on the ice, you're wrong.

Apparently the freezing device was too small for the rink and it hasn't frozen through yet.

Rink officials say Monday at noon will now be the grand opening.
