Mother Pleads Not Guilty to Leaving Child in Ditch

The Illinois mom accused of leaving her newborn baby in a stark county ditch says she didn't do it.

19-year-old Kendra Meaker pleaded not guilty in court Friday. A final psychologist's report shows she is fit to stand trial.

Meaker is accused of leaving her 3-week-old baby in a ditch just outside Toulon, Illinois back in September, sparking an Amber Alert.

She goes on trial in March. If convicted, Meaker could face up to four years in prison.
