Davenport Community Schools are helping those on the East Coast recover from Super Storm Sandy.
Wilson Elementary sent a school bus filled with supplies to the victims.
Today, students from several other schools went around the district picking up supplies.
Hawkeye Movers donated a semi to transport all the donations to New York.
"It's just a really great feeling to be able to help those in need and know that it's going to go to those that really truly do need it. Christmas is not even on their minds it's an issue of getting back in their homes and getting their life back together," says Jenny Cracraft, the office manager for Hawkeye Movers.
The semi filled with cleaning supplies, clothes, and food will head to New York tomorrow.
