Meth makers arrested in Davenport

Two Davenport men are in the Scott County Jail charged with making methamphetamine.

Tuesday night police received information that there was a meth lab in a garage on Dixwell Street. Officers responded to the garage behind 1947 Dixwell and found John Petre and Joel Harter inside.

Also in the garage were materials used in making meth as well as the finished product.
