Police in Muscatine are warning residents to watch out for a man who was acting suspiciously around children.
On Tuesday police responded to Kindler Avenue for a report of a driver making obscene gestures towards children. The man reportedly attempted to reach out of his van towards the children.
The driver was described as a white male in his twenties. He had dark brown hair and a tattoo on his face. The man was driving a black mini van.
The children ran to a nearby home and weren't hurt.
Police are asking the public to be alert for anything out of the ordinary when children are around. If you have any information you are asked to call the Muscatine Police Department at 563-263-9922.
