Fire Rips Through Downtown Monticello

The CBS station in Cedar Rapids is reporting that a fire has torn through downtown Monticello, Iowa, Wednesday morning.

It forced at least 10 people out of their homes.

The fire also affected four businesses, including Monticello Carpets and Interiors.

Several area agencies were called in to assist Monticello firefighters in battling this blaze in the frigid temperatures.

It's not known how the blaze started or if there were any injuries.
