New developments could be coming to Moline

New developments could soon be coming to Moline.

Tuesday night city leaders voted to make a stretch of land on Route 150 and Route 6 a TIF district. That means a portion of taxes earned will go back to the businesses.

City leaders said the old landfill area is a prime location for businesses as a lot of airport traffic goes by there. The next step is to meet with potential developers.
