The Quad Cities will soon have its own little piece of Rockefeller Center.
A public skating rink is scheduled to open this Saturday in Bass Street Landing off of 17th street in Moline.
Workers put some final touches on the rink today.
It'll be open seven days a week, and there's already a lot of excitement.
"The word got out and we've been getting calls from businesses and schools and organizations wanting to know if they can rent the ice and just from the general public wanting to know when it's gonna open," said Larry Rosmilso of Plaza Ice Incorporated.
It costs five dollars to skate for ninety minutes, or eight bucks if you rent skates.
