CBS4 is making it easy for you to help kids in need this holiday season.
More than 4,000 QC children will have Christmas presents, thanks to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive.
We're helping the Marines kick off the season with a special Toy Drive all day Tuesday in Downtown Rock Island.
"We'd like to have big turnout," says Staff Sgt. Matt Starratt, U.S. Marine Corps. "It'll help us out in the next two weeks coming up."
The marines are looking for new, unwrapped toys for kids ages 6 months to 12 years.
They say this year, there's a greater need for kids under two, and girls between 6 and 9.
You can drive up and drop off toys and money in the District Tuesday the 27th from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
You can also bring donations to the CBS4 studios during regular business hours until December 8th.
