Donahue man charged with embezzlement

A Donahue, Iowa man is charged with stealing from the Donahue Sportsmen's Club while he was treasurer.

Kris Oetzmann, 38, had been treasurer since January of 2012. In September, the Scott County Sheriff's Department began an investigation into missing funds.

Oetzmann is charged with First Degree Theft for taking about $27,000 from the club. He turned himself in on Wednesday and has been released.
