Black Friday and Small Business Saturday might be over, but the deals keep coming for Cyber Monday.

"It's a huge day for retailers across pretty much the globe," says Jeff Lawrence, American TV & Appliance. "It's really important for the box stores."

Shop.org says about 122 million Americans are expected to take advantage of online bargain basement deals Monday. Last year, Cyber Monday sales topped $1.25 billion - a new record. Today is expected to be the biggest online shopping day of the year for the third year in a row; sales are expected to top $1.5 billion.

Shoppers here in the QC say shopping online is easy if you know what you're getting.

"If you know what you're looking for online, it's great," says Amber Bollman. "But sometimes it's nice to go to the stores to get deals too."

That's why some stores are trying to play ball with Internet retailers.

"What we've done is we've offered to match any authorized retailers pricing on Cyber Monday." Davenport Store Manager Jeff Lawrence says American TV and Appliance is price matching Cyber Monday deals to get people away from the computer and into their doors.

He says shoppers who buy online are also spending money that would otherwise be spent locally.

Some shoppers we talked to say they'll keep that in mind while surfing the web for deals on Cyber Monday.

"It gives people the option of coming in and buying locally and keeping their money in the quad cities and supporting local business," said Amber Bollman adds.

If you're not able to snag any deals on Cyber Monday, most of the sites will continue the sales through the holidays.
