The 11 days of Festivals of Trees has come to an end, but organizers are already thinking about next year.
65,000 people was the average attendance for the Quad City Arts annual holiday celebration.
It kicked off with the parade and every day there were lunches, dances, and other activities for the whole family.
Al the money raised will go to arts education.
Organizers won't know for another three weeks how the events paid off, but they say they're very happy with the turnout.
"We're just over the moon. Our numbers are really looking good. Attendance has been fabulous this year. Our gift shop has almost been plucked dry, sales on the trees are really good, so we're really hoping we raised a lot of money for Quad City Arts," says Deb McDaniel, staff director.
Organizers say the festival of trees keeps getting bigger and better each year, so they're already coming up with ideas to top this year
