Iowa's government debt has reached a new all-time high.
It is now the equivalent of more than $4,500 per resident.
A detailed list will be released on Monday showing which state agencies, counties, cities, and school districts have accumulated more than $14 billion in debt.
That's up more than four percent from a year ago, and nearly 40% over the last five years.
