If you're looking for ways to buy local you can head over to the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island. It's the 23rd Annual QC Christmas Arts and Crafts Show.
Dozens of vendors are selling hand made gifts and trinkets. The craft show is always the weekend right after Thanksgiving and organizer, Chris Beaty says the unique crafts is enough to compete with door buster sales.
"We have things here that the big shops cant even come close to offering, everything is hand crafted and there are 190 exhibitors here who have put their heart and sole into their product and you're not going to find it any place else."
The craft sale continues Sunday from 10-4.
