Residents in the QCA have their last shot to grab some Twinkies, Ho Hos and Ding Dongs.

After closing their doors on Tuesday, Hostess outlets in Moline and Davenport reopened today after receiving a new shipment.

The company filed for bankruptcy last week which means about $18,000 workers will lose their jobs.

Folks we spoke with say they stocked up for the end of an iconic brand.

"It's just sad," says Michelle Courter Farden. "Really sad because we had Hostess and Wonder Bread growing up here in Davenport and in Peoria and its closing of an era."

Hostess workers say their Davenport and Moline stores will stay open until everything is gone.

A handful of companies have reportedly expressed interest in buying the company.
