Local vendors are selling for a cause.
It's part of the second annual ‘Light the Night' fundraiser. Forty small businesses sold their items and will be donating a portion of their profits to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Folks in the QC went table to table checking out different hats, jewelry, and other home products at the Golden Leaf Banquet Center.
Some of the vendors and buyers have a personal connection to the cancer society.
"We do have a couple people that are doing this in honor of someone, people who have passed away that they knew, close family, just a lot of different people wanting to raise money for a good cause," says Amber Sherrod, the Organizer for Light the Night.
The organizer says it's a great way for local businesses to get exposure while supporting the cause.
