Tim Bruder was pleasantly surprised when a volunteer knocked on his door with a special thanksgiving delivery.
"You know I appreciate any help I can get. You know I don't get out of this apartment much," says Tim Bruder, a homebound senior.
Sick and in a wheel chair, Tim Bruder says he is thankful for people like Connie who give up their time to help.
"Any compassion or love that they show is all great and having a meal delivered today is just icing on the cake," says Bruder.
Today, Connie Stablein made sixteen stops on her delivery route; hitting senior centers, and apartment buildings to personally deliver each meal.
"I just like giving back. At my age, you never know if I'll need meals delivered to me!" says Connie Stablein, a Project Now Volunteer.
Even though Tim is used to getting home delivered meals, he says this delivery is special.
"I'm not without love, I'll tell you that."
