After a last ditch effort to reach a deal with workers failed, Hostess Company is back in liquidation.
The judge overseeing the bankruptcy case had asked both sides yesterday to enter mediation talks. But the talks broke off after only a few hours with no resolution. That means about 18,000 workers will lose their jobs.
A handful of companies have reportedly expressed interest in buying the company.
