IA Looking Into Early Voting Verification

You may soon need a signature to vote early in Iowa.

Secretary of State Matt Schultz is considering a signature verification system to ensure voters are who they say they are. He says it's a concern, since nearly half of all voters voted early or by absentee ballot in this election.

A plan could be presented before the legislative session ends in January.
