Drug charges lead to Federal prison sentences for area men

Drug charges have resulted in Federal prison time for four men from Burlington and Muscatine.

In unrelated cases:

Mark Ball of Muscatine was sentenced to 105 months for cooking and selling crystal meth.

Jorge Carrango-Valencia of Muscatine was sentenced to 168 months for conspiring to make meth.

David Davis Jr. of Burlington was sentenced to 262 months for possessing and selling cocaine and marijuana.

Jorge Melendez of Muscatine was sentenced to 188 months for selling over 200 pounds of pot over a five month period.
