It was Christmas shopping for a cause today at the American Cancer Society's Discovery Shop.
The yearly holiday open house had folks lining up outside the shop more than an hour before it opened.
Sweaters, decorations, and lot and lots of ornaments lined the shop.
Proceeds of the sale go towards cancer research.
"We have a lot of survivors, people who are dealing with cancer right now, so it's a great way they feel they can really make a difference in their own journey or obviously in someone else's journey as well," said Jamie Sons, manager of the Discovery Shop in Bettendorf.
The Discovery Shop's next major sale is around Superbowl Sunday.
