Davenport celebrates Adoption Day

How'd you like to give a Quad City kid a new home this holiday season? 

Friday was Davenport's first ever Adoption Day Celebration.  Local families shared their stories and some actually finalized their adoptions at the event.  Organizers said there are many children in our area who are in desperate need of a home.

"You are opening your heart and your home to someone and giving them a home and you will get back love from the child you take in," said Nancy Maday, Iowa Kids Net.
