Festival of Trees Parade offers fun for all

It will begin to look a lot like Christmas in Davenport Saturday morning.

The Festival of Trees Parade kicks off at 11:00 AM on 2nd Avenue and 3rd Street, and there's something for everyone.

There will be more than 20 large helium balloon figures, dance groups, bands, and unique antique cars.

If you plan to be in Davenport tonight or tomorrow, you'll need to watch out for road closures. Starting at 6:00 PM Friday, 3rd Street from Pershing to LeClare and Iowa Street from 2nd to 4th will close. And Saturday morning at 10:30, 2nd Avenue and 3rd Street will close from Scott to Pershing.

Those who live in the parade route have until 9 AM Saturday to move their car or be towed.
