UPDATE:
Davenport Police have released the names of the people involved in Thursday's fatal accident.
Twenty-four year old Lisa McDaniel of Colona was killed in the crash. Police say she was at fault, turning her Toyota Corolla into the path of the garbage truck.
The driver of the truck was identified as Michael Brown of Davenport. Brown has not been charged in connection with the incident.

One person is dead after a garbage truck and a car collided this afternoon in Davenport.
There's no word yet on who died in the accident. It happened near Rockingham Rd. and Interstate 280 around 3:00 PM.
Police are still on the scene investigating. Anyone with any information on the accident is asked to call Davenport P.D.
