Iowa flags to fly at half-staff Thursday

Flags in Iowa will be flown at half staff Thursday, to honor a fallen soldier.

Pfc. Brandon Buttry of Shenandoah was killed in Afghanistan November 5th. His funeral is tomorrow so out of respect, all state government buildings will lower their flags from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Governor Terry Brandstad is encouraging other businesses to do the same.
