They're climbing their way to a healthier life. Wednesday, Trinity employees in Rock Island got together to climb 10 stories.
Health experts say by taking the stairs instead of the elevator, you can get in your exercise, and raise you heart rate, without even really thinking about it.
Exercise expert, Stacia Carroll, says it's cheap and easy.
"Free for employees at their work site to engage in physical activity by climbing the stairs we know that cardiovascular endurance is improved, lung capacity is improved, as well as muscular training so it's just a win win for all employees."
Studies also show stair climbers have a lower risk of heart disease.
