Umbrellas were up Sunday on Arsenal Island. The rain didn't stop a large crowd from honoring our veterans at the Rock Island National Cemetery. As Representative Bobby Schilling put it, rain is nothing compared to what the vets endure. Taps and a 21 gun salute paid tribute to survivors, those that have died in battle, and those still overseas. And as important as it is to remember Veterans Day officials say everyday should be Veterans Day.
