Today's cold rainy weather didn't stop Quad Citians from lining the streets of Davenport for the annual veteran's day parade.
Marine Corp troops, marching bands, and boy scouts walked through downtown davenport to remember those who serve in our military.
Veterans
say it means a lot to see the community's support for soldiers who have and are
serving our country.
"Our history is based on remembering those who've sacrificed and made this great country what it is," says Bob Brooks, organizer and veteran.
A singer from rock island moved the audience and the entire Quad City crowd joined her in singing God Bless America.
