And now that the election is over and the President has been relected, consumer groups are pressuring Iowa's Governor to create an online health insurance marketplace. Even though the state has accepted more than 35 million dollars in federal grants through the President's new health care plan, Governor Branstad hasn't said how Iowa's going to set up the program. States have until next Friday to set up a health insurance market, or have the federal government impose one. The program will allow residents to shop for private insurance.
