Last night, veterans from the Korean War and World War II returned home from the 21st Honor Flight of the Quad Cities.
It was a packed house as the veterans made their way through the crowd. For many, this was the first time they received a welcome home like this.
Veterans we spoke with say the entire day was an unforgettable experience.
"The people here and the effort put forth into welcoming us and make us feel honored is just amazing," says Roland Ebbers, Korean War veteran.
Dates are still being finalized for 2013, but the Honor Flight organizers say the next flight will take place in late April.
