East Moline Police have captured a man they say robbed a gas station clerk on August 23rd.
The robbery happened at the Phillps 66 Mini-Mart on 7th Street. A man grabbed the throat of the clerk and stole a gold necklace.
Security cameras recorded the incident and a warrant was soon issued to Ajayi McIntyre of Rock Island. On Thursday McIntyre was spotted walking in the 1200 block of 10th Street in East Moline and arrested.
McIntyre was arrested is
currently being held in the Rock Island County Jail on a charge of Robbery. He
is being held on $75,000 bond.
