People of all faiths in the QCA are helping those impacted by Superstorm Sandy. Wednesday, a prayer vigil was held at the Muslim Community of the Quad-Cities Mosque in Bettendorf. People prayed for the victims and survivors and gave donations to the American Red Cross.
"They've got to go through a very tough time and it just gets you, and of course our thought and prayers are with them," said Talia Albi, Outreach Coordinator.
So far, the Red Cross of the Quad Cities has sent 27 volunteers to help out on the East Coast.
