A Bettendorf woman, who ended up in the emergency room on Election Day, turned to CBS4 for help.

Mychele Bishop was in Trinity Hospital in Bettendorf, and didn't know how she could vote. So she reached out to us via our Facebook page.

"As I was sitting in the hospital, WHBF actually did some leg work for me in finding out how I could vote," Bishop said.

The CBS4 News Team got in touch with the Scott County Auditor. Workers from there made the trip to Trinity so Bishop could vote.

"They were on my side to figure out how could do it today," Bishop said.

We're told three patients were actually able to cast their ballots from the hospital before the polls closed Tuesday night.
