A Rock Island business is changing hands. Gus's Koffee Break in the district is getting a nearly $15,000 renovation.
With that comes a new owner and a slight name tweak. It'll just be Koffee Break. The renovations will include a new grill, friar, carpet, lights and paint. And the breakfast place is looking to spice up the lunch menu as well. They'll be adding burgers, wraps and salads.
The new owner hopes to have the restaurant open again on November 19th.
