City officials in Chicago said the city's election website crashed for a short time on Tuesday. Officials said it happened because so many voters were trying to figure out if their polling place had moved because of redistricting.
Board of Elections spokesperson Jim Allen said the site was down for more than hour and hundreds of voters went to the wrong polling place. While the city's phones were clogged by people trying to figure out where they needed to go to vote.
