Here in the QCA, voters have been hitting the polls since early Tuesday morning.
People waited in a long line at the First Baptist Church in Rock Island on Tuesday.
But, neither the lines nor the rain kept voters from making their voices heard.
Illinois officials have not reported any problems, after errors during the primary with ballots being a little too wide to fit in the ballot box.
Election officials said with all the options voters had to cast ballots, there's no excuse for not voting.
"They've had 4 places to vote, satellite places, trolleys got around – almost a whole month to vote early. If they don't get out – it's their lack of commitment," Mick Esparza said.
