Preparing for polls in Illinois

Illinois election organizers say everything is ready for people to hit the polls today.

During the primary's earlier this year there was an error with the ballots being a little too wide to fit in the ballot box.

The county clerk's office says that won't happen this time.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. today through 7 p.m. tonight.

Lines may be long at polling places but election organizers say that there is no excuse to not to go out and vote.
