East Moline City Council consider TIF for multi-million dollar development

The road blocks are being lifted for a multi-million dollar development in East Moline. City council approved a $17,000 dollar study that will determine how much the former case New Holland site is worth. This after the land was incorrectly assessed for millions more than it worth. Once the land is assessed, council will vote to make the area a TIF again. Eventually, the developers want to build a boardwalk, hotel, shops and restaurants.
