A day after her husband campaigned in Davenport, Ann Romney came to town for a different reason.
She helped out with a collection effort for storm relief at the campaign's Davenport office on Tuesday. Romney talked about the importance of helping the millions of victims.
One woman we spoke to says she's glad to see the campaign lend a hand. "I thought it was a good idea to bring our stuff for those who need the relief from the storms out east," said Madonna Ventling.
Ann Romney also helped with similar collection events in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids. Her husband, Gov. Mitt Romney, worked similar events Monday in Ohio.
