Iowa investigating illegal absentee requests

Were illegal absentee ballot requests made in Muscatine and Floyd counties?

That's what Iowa investigators are trying to figure out.

The Division of Criminal Investigation says a Muscatine County campaign worker for the Democratic Party allowed his mother to sign a ballot request form for him when he wasn't home.

In Floyd County, D.C.I. is looking into three reports of someone filling out ballot requests without the voters knowledge.

It's a felony in Iowa to falsify ballot request forms.
