Illinois Dream Fund applications starting soon

Immigrant students will soon be getting some help going to college.

The Illinois Dream Fund will begin taking applications on Thursday. The state scholarship fund is meant to help all immigrant students, but those who were brought to the country illegally will get special attention Students can apply for up to $6,000 in scholarships.

Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA and a minimum ACT score of 17.
