New trees sprouting up in Bettendorf

Saturday some streets in Bettendorf got a little greener.  The city and an organization called "Trees Are Us" gave 30 trees a new home on Tanglefoot Lane.

Volunteers were out all morning digging, mulching and watering the new landscapes. City officials say planting trees are good for a community in more ways than one, they can increase property value and even stop drivers from speeding.
