Tomorrow the district of Rock Island will be flooded with little ghosts, princesses, and monsters.

Parents are invited to take their kids trick or treating at businesses all around the district.

Last year a thousand kids came out and district organizers say each year it gets bigger and better.

There will be demonstrations from the Quad Cities Tumbling Academy, dance performances, and of course: a costume contest.

Newborns to fourteen year olds are able to compete.

"It's a Halloween party for kids. I want it scary of course, but that's just me. Some of the costumes are really creative. I wish I was that creative when I was that age," says Carl McCaskey, district of Rock Island.

This year the grand champion's prize will be a Tablet computer.

Other winners will get tickets to Ballet Quad Cities, video games, and candy.
