It's no secret texting and driving is dangerous, but people still do it. Tuesday, some local politicians and AT&T reps came to Black Hawk College to spread the word.
Students were asked to sign a pledge saying they'll never text and drive again. Students say they hope it will cut down on distracted driving.
Nationally, nearly three thousand people died in distracted driving crashes in 2010.
